Asansol Engineering College (AEC)
Overview
Asansol Engineering College, a self financing institute was established in the year 1998. It is situated at Asansol, Burdwan, West Bengal. It offers B.Tech, MCA, and M.Tech in various disciplines. The college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), affiliated to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT) [Formerly - West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT)] and recognized by UGC under section 2F of the UGC Act, 1956.
Asansol Engineering College boasts state-of-art laboratories, multimedia, and smart classrooms with technology-oriented, project-based learning. Spread over an area of more than 16 acres, the college has modern workshops, ICT rooms, Innovation centers, IIP cell, ED cell, and IEI student chapters, and a wifi-enabled campus. AEC has separate hostels for boys and girls with a total of 1000 seats, teachers’ quarters, an amphitheater, lush-green playgrounds, a basketball court, a gymnasium, and indoor games facilities.
